Rajouri, June 05 (KNO): An unidentified militant has been killed in Mehari village of Rajouri district and the operation has been called off, police said today. The encounter that started late night yesterday resulted in the killing of an unidentified militant from which arms and ammunition have been recovered. Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu Mukesh Singh said that an unidentified militant has been killed. “He seems to be a foreigner. We are still ascertaining his identity. One AK-47 riffle, a magazine and a few grenades were recovered from the slain militant,” the IGP told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO). He said that the operation has been called off—(KNO)
